Welcome to the West Wing Art Room!
Thanks for visiting the West Wing Art site! A brief introduction!
My Name is Tricia Hilbert and I have been teaching Art here at West Wing since the school opened in March of 2006. I am married and have 3 daughters, all who have either attended or are currently attending West Wing School!
We feel very much part of a family here at West Wing and all feel very blessed to be a part of this amazing place of learning :).
Our family also includes 3 adopted dogs who we adore and a reeeeaaaallly old desert tortoise ( I have had him since I was 12 and I am no youngster ;) ) who wanders around our backyard at a leisurely pace. Hobbies of mine include reading, art and crafts ( of course! ) and being outdoors.
In my class my goal is to give your child as many different kinds of art experiences as I can. We use many recycled materials in the art room and do our best to not waste paper by turning what may seem like a mistake at first into something we can be proud of.
Thank you for your interest in our Art program here at West Wing. Be sure that you look at our FABULOUS ONLINE ART MUSEUM at ARTSONIA.COM. http://www.artsonia.com/schools/archive.asp?id=106577&type=art .I photograph and upload each project your child makes in art to this online museum where you can view, comment on and make fun t-shirts and gifts out of your child's artwork. You can also be in your child's FAN CLUB and sign your friends and relatives up to be in it as well! If you register on Artsonia you will automatically get an email every time your child has a new work of art to see online!
