For Grades 1-6 Students will receive a possible 50 points each class periods.
Points will be deducted in 10 point increments for the following actions
*Being off task
*Not following directions
In compliance with school grading practices deductions will not go below 50% of the Maximum points (i.e. 25 points) Our reasoning behind this is that a zero grade is difficult to recover from and a 50% is still a failing grade.
For 7th and 8th grades a 25 point (5 points a day) weekly participation grade will be given each week with deductions taken away for the same infractions as the 1-6th students. There will also be project grades .
